Well that’s a nice big cannonball into the pool. Don’t do anything in half measures, eh, Will?

  2. william G Says:

I never go off half-cocked. I’m always fully cocked.

  3. william G Says:

Though, I really must put my opening tirade to bed. I’ve been rewriting it continuously.

  4. Phil Kahn Says:

That’s the thing, Will. First impressions in what we’re doing are tricky. Because everything you do needs to be consistent as it can be. People rarely see you first on your premiere piece. They usually catch you on your most recent post, or one that’s been cited.

My opening piece here was really just a statement of purpose. Since then, I’ve been taking it as I go, doing it how it strikes me as best.

Except for the weeks at a time where I don’t do anything. I… I need to stop that.

    heh heh.

count me in as happy to hear it.

    silent majority indeed.

  6. Blue Says:

No comment space, eh Will? Content to scream and not let anyone scream back? ::raises eyebrow knowingly::

  7. william G Says:

    Yes, that ’s it exactly.

Besides, if someone feels they have to scream at me, they have their own blogs/ podcasts to do it from. If they’re really determined to let me know that they hate me forever and ever over a tiny aspect of medium most of humanity sees as meaningless, they can ask Scott Kurtz for my email address.

My unwillingness to listen to what people have to sayis the direct result of my earlier willingness to listen to what people had to say. Sad it had to be like that, but that’s how things are.

I may open them up down the road in a fit of wanting to see if anyone is actually reading. Cuz you know: The comments section on a blog aint for the readers. They’re for keeping the author’s ego fluffed.

  8. william G Says:

Ehn.. I changed my mind. You can comment if you want to, Blue. Just not on the entires I’m fairly certain you want to comment on.

  9. Phil Kahn Says:

I dunno, Will. I think you need to leave yourself open to comments on everything. You gotta take the bad with the good and all that. And there’s really no better way to sever the dialogue by cutting folk off from disagreeing with you.

  10. william G Says:

” You gotta take the bad with the good and all that. “

No I dont. Who made that rule up? That’s just crazy talk!
