It's eerie, and gives me a little shiver of "WTF yikes!" or some such. Milholland, I am certain, knew that positively, and thus made such a visual point of it. Great comic. I would comment more and with greater linguistic skill, but my brain is melting out my ears from being so tired, and yeah.
